ACTS Degree College is recognised as Ambedkar College of Technology and Science, the Best College in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Serving as an affiliated college since 2001, this college has been transforming the youth since its inception. Spread over a large area of 5 acres, ACTS Degree College provides an excellent ambience for academic as well as all-round personality development. The college is now hosting 200 students and 15 members of the faculty staff. Being a premier institution in science, commerce, and management education, ACTS Degree College provides seven undergraduate programmes under three degree streams. 

ACTS Degree College has adopted the provision of some of the best facilities to complement learning for the college’s students. The spacious library/resource centre avails an assorted variety of books, magazines, journals, and newspapers for student and staff use in their academic endeavours. This aspect is in place with a highly equipped college’s science laboratory to enable direct learners’ practical experience in chemistry, physics, and biological sciences practical lessons. The IT infrastructure is on par with the academics, as there is a computer lab with Intel processors and basic computer software with whole WiFi connectivity throughout the campus. For the development of the students physically and in sports, ACTS Degree College has provided a five-acre playground where they can play different games, including cricket, football, volleyball, athletic meetings, etc. The place still offers more games, such as indoor games for those who prefer a more tactful exercise like chess. 

ACTS Degree College provides a wide variety of undergraduate courses to fulfil the students needs in different fields. The college provides seven courses across three degree programmes: Some of the common undergraduate degree programmes include the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc). These programmes are intended to ensure that the students get profound knowledge and skills in areas of specialisation. The B.Sc. programme has honours streams in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The B.Com. programme encompasses a general honours section in addition to an honours in computer applications.
