Al-Habeeb Teacher Training College is an esteemed college in Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand to provide education to train future teachers. This affiliated college was set up in 1987 with an expressed mission of molding minds for the past three decades. Located on a 4 acre campus it provides a favourable environment to lean and grow. It provides the facility of limited classrooms since only 16 faculty members teach 125 students, and the ratio of students to faculty is perfect for a college.

Among the facilities that the college boasts of is a versatile range of one-stop-shop excellent and comprehensive learning facilities. The well resourced library is a perfect place which provides the maximum number of text and reference books, educational encyclopaedias, year books and electronic publications. CD-ROMs and journals are available so that students can look for materials on teacher education which of course give the students various resources for their coursework. The college also has fully equipped modern information technology facilities and Internet connection all through the college to ensure that students have free access to information on the internet. There are different practical lab facilities in the house such as Psychology, Computer, Language, Social Science, Mathematics, Physical Science, and Biological Science practicals. 

Al-Habeeb Teacher Training College currently offers two full-time courses. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Diploma in Elementary Education D.El.Ed). The B.Ed program is approved to have an intake of one hundred students and the D.El.Ed program have an intake capacity of fifty students. Each of them lasts two years and aims to prepare professional teachers.

This is in view of selecting the right candidates that will oversee the admission process of Al-Habeeb Teacher Training College. The college also adhere to all other selection policies as perhaps by the state government/union territory administration, as well as the university that the college is affiliated to. In case of the D.El.Ed program, the course admission is done based on an entrance examination followed by an interview.
