Alimineti Madhava Reddy Memorial College of Education, Nalgonda, which commenced in the year 2003 is a leading institution and is committed to build future of education. This co-educational college is situated in Choutuppal of the newly formed Telangana state where the college has been set on a small piece of land measuring 0.87 acre. NCTE accreditation of affiliated colleges reaffirms quality standards in teacher education and has approved affiliated college under the NCTE norms. At the moment the institute teaches only two postgraduate courses in education and that can enrol 93 students in total while 9 hundred percent focused teachers are working there.

This college has been equipped with infrastructures intended to facilitate the college learning of its students. The athletic facilities in the college are open to sports lovers to ensure that they enjoy their physical health whenever they are engaging in their academic studies. In any academic and cultural activities, the college offers an auditorium hence a conducive college life. The focal point of student research materials is the college library with stock of 4222 volumes and 1149 titles drawn from focal areas and general education. An open space with large tables and comfortable seating is located next door to the library and serves as a readers’ room. For this purpose, the college has retained department-based laboratories to ensure that students address real-life problems using theoretical concepts they learned in class.

Alimineti Madhava Reddy Memorial College of Education offers two full-time courses. ELLC offers two main programmes in teacher education; these are a two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and an equivalent two-year Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) The B.Ed programme has an authorised intake capacity of one hundred (100) seats and the D.Ed programme has an authorised intake capacity of fifty (50) student. 

The admission in to Alimineti Madhava Reddy Memorial College of Education is on the basis of merit through marks secured in the qualifying examination or any other entrance test. The admission process for the B.Ed programme follows the norms prevailed in the state government/UT administration and affiliated university. Likewise, admission process regarding the D.Ed programme is made according to norms set by the state government/UT administration.
