The Amity Institute of English Studies and Research is a college in Noida; it was founded in the year 2005 as a constituent college of Amity University. Managed by Sector-125, Noida, Uttar Pradesh-based Amity University, it is an independent institute for related studies and research; programs vary from the undergraduate to postdoctoral level. Students of the institute, under which it becomes really easy, interested in the Comparative Literature and Language Studies, pursue research in a focused environment under the shadow of 18 faculty members.

There are five courses made available under five levels at the institute. Bachelor's, Master's, M.Phil., and Ph.D. These comprise a full-time BA (Hons) in English, a full-time two-year MA in English, a full-time M.Phil. in English, and full-time and part-time programs leading to a PhD in English. 

The admission procedure at Amity University of English Studies and Research is quite different for different courses. In the MA English course, the students would be admitted based on personal interview. It is rather common that postgraduate and doctorate programs such as M.Phil. and Ph.D. would include entrance tests as well as personal interviews and assessment of research proposals.
