The co-educational Arjan Das College, Dharamkot, earlier known as Dharamkot College, was acclaimed in 1971 at Moga, Punjab. This affiliated college provides a good many faculties of education and an assorted educational curriculum; it provides 5 courses in its discipline. With a strength of 14 dedicated faculty members, the college aims to deliver quality education to the students of the college. There is, however, no information regarding the number of students and size of the campus, but the college offers various courses that are of a high standard.

Some of the facilities found in the college are meant to help in the improvement of the general learning environment of the students. A fully equipped library is the focal point for the academic experience for which collections of books and e-journals covering various subject areas are available through the N-List programme of INFLIBNET. The staff working at the library is well qualified, which means that the library is capable of providing the best service so that the users develop a conducive atmosphere for learning and research. As far as sports and fitness are concerned, the college has arrangements of variety for those students who are interested. Modern gymnasiums full of all necessary equipment help students to pay attention to their physical health. Faculty have provided different play fields for all the games and sports, such as cricket, hockey, football, kho-kho, kabaddi and athletics. I have come to know that so many games and sports fields are available at this campus to maintain a balance between studies and sports.

Overall, the Arjan Das College currently provides 5 full-time courses, fulfilling the needs of many students. Some of these degree programmes are undergraduate degree programmes: Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), etc. Postgraduate degree programmes: Master of Arts in Punjabi (MA Punjabi), etc. The college also offers professional diploma courses such as Post Graduate Diploma in Fashion Designing (PGDFD) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA). 

At Arjan Das College, there is a classic method of admission in which most of the students are offered admissions based on their performance in the entrance exams for all the courses. B. Based on academic progression in the qualifying examinations, prospective students are considered for admission. For the under graduate programmes, the college undertake the scores that the applicant has secured in the 10+2 or equivalent examination for programmes such as BA and BCA. Degree courses like MA Punjabi, PGDFD, and PGDCA decompose their eligibility criteria, as the candidate should have done their bachelor’s degree in the respective or allied field. The college is open to all students, and there is little information on scholarships to this college at this time.
