Atibal Singh Teachers Training College, Allahabad, was set up in the year 2012 to provide teacher training education, and it is also a self-financed institution. Established in Meja, Sinki Kalan Allahabad, the university of Uttar Pradesh with co-educational facilities offers specialised programs for student teachers. At present, it is a campus institute that has total enrolment of 87 students and total faculties of 8 members.

A conducive learning environment serves the interests of the college’s students and therefore has to be a priority. Atibal Singh Teachers Training College has a well-stocked library to facilitate the academic needs of the students as well as the requirements of research. In relation to a practical-orientated learning facility, the institute comprises departmental-based laboratories where students can practice all acquired knowledge in an imitation class environment. Atibal Singh Teachers Training College has merit admission for applying students, where first preference is given on marks scored in the qualifying and entrance tests. Thus, the admission policies of the college are as per the regulation laid by the state government of Uttar Pradesh and the university to which the college is affiliated. For the B.Ed. program, candidates are selected in the process that involves a written entrance examination for the B.Ed. programme as well as for the D.El.Ed. programme, they also consider candidates’ performance in the qualifying examinations and any other selection procedure following the norms & policies of the state government/UT administration.
