B. Padmanabhan Jayanthimala College of Arts and Science: established in 2000, affiliated college at Srimushnam, Tamil Nadu. Located on a 10-acres land, this institution has committed itself to provide quality and variety of programme to its 273 students. Currently, our college has a faculty of 37 which ensures a good student-teacher ratio, delivering the best results for the students. In terms of learning programme and curricula delivery, the college delivered eight degrees in arts, science and commerce for both undergraduate and post graduate students.

The college has a host of facilities that make the learning atmosphere as well as the development of the learners’ enhanced. Its a centre of academic resource providing books, journals and periodicals to students and faculty staff members of the university. They include computer-aided reading rooms and an e-library where students have an opportunity to access an impressive array of information. Technology is supported at this institution, which boasts a functional computer laboratory that consists of fifty systems complete with required software and Local Area Network (LAN) capabilities. Practical knowledge is promoted by efficiently equipped laboratories for Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, and Language Department. It thus consists of an event and seminar hall, a canteen to cater for refreshments during the day and games and sports fields for activities that nurture health and unity.

The under graduate programmes offered are BA, BBA, B.Com, BCA, B.Sc, The post graduations programmes offered by the university are M.Com, M.Sc computer science and MA English.
