Baharagora College Baharagora was established in 1969 is a Co-Education institute currently offers programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels to students. The college offers degree programmes in the field of Arts, Science, Commerce and Education. 

The courses offered at the Baharagora College include BA (Hons.), BSc (Hons.), BCom (Hons.), BA, BSc, BCom and B.Ed at the undergraduate level and MA and MCom at the postgraduate level. The admission to all these programmes is based on marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying examinations. Baharagora College Baharagora is affiliated to the Kolhan University Chaibasa and is accredited by the NAAC with ‘B’ Grade.

Baharagora College has a Placement Cell which handles all the placement related activities. As per the NIRF Report 2025, 2 UG programme students and 1 PG programme student got placed with the median package of Rs. 2.16 LPA and Rs. 5.38 LPA respectively.
