BBM B.Ed. College, Bokaro, established in 2010, it is an affiliated college in Sardaha,Bokaro,Jharkhand. This is a coeducational institution recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education- NCTE for the imparting of teacher training education. The college occupies a small area of 0. 6498 acre area and provides only two courses that have a capacity of 220 students. Presently, the College boasts of a faculty of 23 committed teachers actively involved in the learning process, thereby offering a better students–teachers ratio to enable efficient training of prospective teachers.

BBM B.Ed. College has a variety of facilities that aim at improving the learning experience of students in the college. BBM B.Ed. College currently offers two full-time courses: a Bachelors and Diploma Courses of Education: B. Ed and D.El.Ed respectively. Students normally join the B.Ed programme after completing their Class 12 education and after clearing a competitive test In India, a B.Ed degree has an approved intake capacity of 100 students and it extends over two years with an aim to prepare the student teachers for teaching in classes from VII to undergraduate classes. The D.El.Ed course also covers two years and has admission capacity of 50 students, and is aimed at teacher training for lower and upper primary classes. As it will be clear from the course descriptions, both courses are designed to impart mixture of theoretical understanding and practical teaching method that is crucial in shaping future trainers.

BBM B.Ed. College follows the Common Admission Test (CAT) including the marks secured in the qualifying examination as criteria for admissions. For the B.ED programme, the admission process is made according to the rules and regulation of the state government, UT administration along with the university where it is recognised. Likewise, the admission in D.El.Ed has the bar of norms of admissions that has been set by the State Government or UT Administration.
