Bharathi College of Education, Ranchi was established in 2012 in collaboration with the Mandar, Jharkhand and this is an affiliated college situated at Kandri village in that area. This co-educational institution located on 1.39 acres of land is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). This college has two full-time education programs total enrollment of 400 students and a faculty of 32. Bharathi College of Education aims to educate students aspiring to be teachers, offering first B.Ed and second D.El.Ed program, both are of 2-year duration with 100 enrolment capacity per course.

The college has a total approved intake of 200 students every year and has split the two courses equally; each program receives 100 students.
