CKD International Nursing College started in 2012 the premier nursing institute is situated in Amritsar Punjab. Located on a comparatively small area of 3 acres, this affiliated college has been catering to the cause of evolving nursing education for more than 10 years. BON has set standards for nursing institutions that have been recognized and endorsed by the Indian Nursing Council for CKD International Nursing College offers comprehensive healthcare education with the following programs. The college takes a total of 291 students in a session for all its programs and is staffed by 40 faculty members thus keeping student to teacher ratio healthy.

A list of amenities that are present at the college with aim of improving on the learning capabilities of students include: In terms of First Aid, a good infrastructured Health Centre is available with all the First Aid amenities within the college campus, Hence as a part of this project, we too get to have a first hand experience with medical care. This college library provides students with a lot of information that would help them build up his/her knowledge about nursing and health care systems. 

In order to provide knowledge as according to the modern IT advances, CKD International Nursing College has equipped itself with modern information technology facilities which includes Internet facilities to access current development and Nursing information. The college has an auditorium that it uses for educational seminars, cultural activities and other essential functions to enhance a lively students’ campus life.

At CKD International Nursing College, there are four full time nursing courses, for different nursing ability. These comprises two degree programme namely BSc Nursing and Post BSc Nursing and two diplomas programmes namely General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM). These programs together have an overall approved intake of 140 students, among which B.Sc Nursing and GNM have 40 seats each whereas Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and ANM have 30 seats each. student hence has the opportunity to pursue any of those programs of his or her choice depending on the area of specialty desired in the nursing field.
