The College of Fisheries, Agartala started from 1998 is another substantial constituent college of this university for providing fisheries education and research. For the under graduate courses, the actual eligibility criteria depends the Common Entrance Test conducted by the various states. The admission for master’s programmes is more extensive with 60% weight age of the entrance test and 40 % weight age of the marks scored in the qualifying examination. The same procedure is applicable to admissions to a doctoral programme. The undergraduate programme of the college accepts CUET-UG score of the candidates. All candidates are advised to understand that the cut off mark with negative marking is 20% to qualify for the entrance examination for all categories of students.
