The Dayanand Sagar College of Dental Sciences Bangalore: The college was set up in the year 1991, the college is among one of the pioneer dental colleges situated in the cosmopolitan city Bangalore, Karnataka. This affiliated college has a DCI approval and provides many dental courses in its lush green campus spread over 32 acres of land. The college has 59 committed teachers and offers education to 271 students: 78% of them are undergraduates, and 22% are postgraduates. The institution teaches 12 courses at three levels of degree that focus on different aspects of dental sciences.

The college provides various facilities to help students cultivate their learning impulses and make personal development. These include well-equipped girls and boys hostels, a computerised modern library and sophisticated information technology. The student can also access an on-campus health care centre, a modern fitness center and other sporting facilities. The auditorium of this college is used for both academic purposes such as seminars, workshops etc and the cafeteria offers much needed break time for students. The BDS is the college’s focal programme with a total student enrolment of 60 students every year. Besides, the institution offers a number of postgraduate courses which include M.D.S in many specialities like Oral medicine and radiology, conservative dentistry and endodontics, and orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. The college also provides doctoral courses in selected dental specialities, i.e. doctor of philosophy in dentistry (Ph.D.).
