    Department of Law, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati was established in 1976. This esteemed department established in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, has been carving out legal brains for over 4 decades. BCI approved, Department of Law offers a number of law programmes for the students willing to enter legal field. The emphasis remains the principles of quality education, and at the moment the department unites three courses, Bachelor of Laws, Master of Laws, and Doctor of Philosophy in Law.

    Department of Law students have an advantage when it comes to facilities to support their learning. The department is situated in Sri Venkateswara University which has fully fledged Library and Information Centre (LIC). This facility contains extensive information about different areas of the law so that research and learning takes place in a favourable context. Most of the campus amenities include state of the art Information Technology facilities and Wi-Fi thus most students are able to apply for the technological assistance they require. Ensuring students’ health and safety, there is a health centre , equipped with first aid facilities and a number of specialties consultative offices. There is an SBI branch and ATMS inside the university along with other banks branches and ATMS located in the campus area as well. 

    The Department of Law provides a wide-array of full time courses to meet the array of interested and concerned career paths within this laid legal spectrum. The flagship programme is the five-year integrated BA LLB course that was acknowledged and approved for admitting 60 students. To further their studies the department provides the two year LLM programme for the learners. Another programme is for aspiring researchers and academician, and the Ph.D. Law programme takes six years to complete.

    In order to select smart candidates for its various programmes the admission protocol of the Department of Law in Sri Venkateswara University is well structured.
