Disha Institute of Management and Technology was established in the year 2005 at Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The institute sprawls over 14 acres of land with a number of amenities and offers several courses in the field of Engineering and Management. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and is affiliated to a duly recognised university. With a total strength of 27 students and 160 in faculty, DIMT ensures a favourable student-teacher ratio. The institute provides 16 courses offered under 4 different degrees with specialisations in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Business Administration.

For the accommodation of students, DIMT provides separate hostels for boys and girls with capacities to accommodate 240 and 150 students respectively. The institute also has a 24-hour medical facility to cater to the health and well-being of the institute's students.

There are 16 courses offered by the institute, which include full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programs. BE programs under the departments of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Civil Engineering are there. In postgraduate studies, the offered Master of Business Administration program along with several M.Tech specialisations are provided.

The students of DIMT get admission according to program-specific norms. The admissions for the BE courses are done through counselling conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Chhattisgarh, based on scores obtained in CGPET and/or JEE. For the course MBA, students should have a valid score in any aptitude test which includes CMAT/MAT/ATMA/CAT/XAT. It also accepts the scores of the national-level entrance tests like JEE Main for engineering courses and CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, CMAT for the management courses. DIMT also offers courses up to the doctoral level in Management, Applied Chemistry, and Applied Physics. To enrol in these courses, entry is through an entrance test conducted by the university, and then to those qualified also through personal interview.
