Divine Institute of Nursing Balrampur is one of the well known Nursing education institution situated in Wadraf Nagar Balrampur Chhattisgar created in the year 2012. The nursing institute, having a huge campus of 18.58 acres, is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). It is a small institute with a total student strength of 19 and a faculty of 17 depending with the institute making it easy to have personal training. Divine Institute of Nursing provides two specialised nursing programmes. Basic B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing besides General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) to meet the need of would-be health care persons.

Divine Institute of Nursing is equipped with numbers of modern facility that are helpful to attract its students. With a seating capacity of over 400, with state of the art facilities the university’s auditorium is also used for conferences, workshops and seminars. The institute also has a computer laboratory and gives access to different online journals to improve students’ research skill. 

Divine Institute of Nursing offers two nursing courses: They offer B.Sc Nursing (4 years), General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and courses for 3 years duration. Intake capacity for the GNM programme is formally set at 30 seats. These programme aims at providing students with a sound knowledge and skills required in nursing in order to produce competent health care professionals. 

Admission into Divine Institute of Nursing is therefore mainly through testing and examinations. To apply for B.Sc Nursing course the candidates are expected to take the Pre-Nursing Test (PNT)/National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NET). NEET-UG result is recognised as the basis for admission to the institute’s nursing courses, coming in line with medical and allied health education introduced throughout the country.
