Every year, college is upgrading the infrastructure to get the good NAAC & other accreditation. Classes are well built and equipped, well maintained. With respect to mechanical stream, labs are not that much sophisticated & the instruments, apparatus need a revamp.
The college stands in the midst of Mumbai with all the amenities nearby. The railway station is near to college thus making it easy for students to reach for their classeses easily. The college has a huge infrastructure culminating engineering, BMM, BMS, and Hotel Management. The campus comes with a football ground and a basketball ball court for all the sports lovers.
In the mind of salesians, DBIT would have to be an engineering college with a difference and so right from the start emphasis was laid on good infrastructure. The DBIT campus,have an area of about 6 acres. It has 4 wings, one wing now seats the EXTC & MECHANICAL department and other one seats each department on different floors . The topmost floor houses the Rev.Fr santino nondini auditorium. DBIT houses well maintained library,labs, digital library, football ground and even indoor games .

As per your question , I would recommend you to take dbit Mumbai cs/it because I have this opinion that in case of private college taking a core branch is not a wise option because the placements in 90% of the private colleges is not up to the
