Dr. Daulatrao Aher College of Engineering, Karad is one of the well-known institutes established in the year 2008. It is an affiliated college spread over a campus area of 10 acres at Vidyanagar Extn. Banawadi, Karad, Maharashtra. DACOE has been chosen with a focus on quality delivered in its working, as reflected through accreditation by NAAC and approval from AICTE. The total enrollment for the institute is 917 students with a faculty strength of 45, with four specialized B.Tech programs. With its spirit of Engineering Excellence, DACOE has found a special place in the temple of technical education in Maharashtra.

The college proudly show cases all modern facilities to improve the learning experience of its students. As for the hosteling facility, DACOE separately maintains boy's and girl's hostels with the capacity of 50 and 100 students, respectively, assuring a safe and compatible atmosphere to study. DACOE offers four full-time B.Tech programs, each for a period of four years. These programs are in the principal disciplines of engineering: Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Every course has an approved intake of 60 students, thereby making a total of 240 seats in all the programs combined.
