Dr. G. Shankar Government Women’s First Grade College and PG Study Centre is a newly established women’s college in the year 2003 in Udupi, Karnataka. This affiliated college is located in Ajjarkadu, Udupi, occupies 1.36 acres and provides 16 different kinds of courses in 8 degrees. At present, the college has 2,297 students, 35 faculty members, and other infrastructure facilities making an ideal academic environment for its growth.

Dr. G. Shankar Government Women’s First Grade College and PG Study Centre has modern infrastructure and infrastructures aimed at supporting teaching and other student development processes. A  library with 17473 textbooks to support academic scholarship is also available. The institution boast of having well equipped sports amenities in the school so as to promote health and character among the learners.
