    General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year full-time diploma program offered by the Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board, Bangalore.


    Eligibility Criteria

    1. He/she must have completed 12th grade with a minimum of 40% from any recognized board. Candidates from the State Open School and the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) are eligible to apply. However, science is preferable.
    2. He/she must obtain 40% marks in the vocational ANM course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
    3. He/she must obtain 40% of marks in the vocational stream Health Care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.
    4. He/she must have a registered ANM certificate with a pass mark
    5. The candidates should be medically fit
    6. The minimum age requirement for admission is 17 years (as of 30th December of that year), while the upper age limit is 35 years.
