Indian Nationals

To be eligible for admission to the PhD programme, candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% in a master’s degree in their chosen area of specialization. Additionally, applicants are required to pass a written test and/or, if conducted by the University’s Research and Innovation Council (RIC), an interview that includes a topic presentation and a basic review. A score meeting or exceeding the stipulated minimum is mandatory for admission.

International Students

Candidates should possess a minimum Master’s degree qualification, which should be as per the recognition by the Association of Indian Universities in the concerned discipline and equivalent thereto. They also require English proficiency demonstration. The certification for English language proficiency is not required if the candidate has pursued a Master’s degree programme where English is the medium of instruction. For that, however, the RIC may occasionally determine additional rules governing the enrolment of research students studying from a foreign country.
