Florence Nightingale College of Nursing, Shahjahanpur, was established in 2010 and has been the stronghold of nursing education not only in Uttar Pradesh but all over India. Located at National Highway 24, Bareilly Road, this affiliated college has been shaping future health professionals since its inception more than a decade ago. Recognised by the Indian Nursing Council, it offers various programmes in nursing, stemming from the need to meet growing requirements for such skilled healthcare professionals. This institution provides a more focused environment for learning with a total enrolment of 367 students and a faculty strength of 33, providing an environment for both academic excellence and practical skills. 

The college has many facilities that go on to contribute to the development of well-rounded experiences in education. At the center of these is a well-stocked library, equipped with the latest edition books, references, journals, and sufficient resource materials that provide students with adequate resource materials for studies. Florence Nightingale College of Nursing offers three full-time courses that cater to different levels of nursing education. The flagship programme will be the four-year B.Sc Nursing with an approved intake of 40 students. In order to update the qualifications of those already working in nursing, the college will offer a two-year Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with 20 seats. A three-year General Nursing and Midwifery course will complete the range of courses. The programmes in this school are designed to provide students with a strong background in nursing theory and practice, focusing on the imperatives of healthcare today.
