Government Arts College, Kulithalai, more popularly known as GAC Kulithalai was established in 2007. Situated at Ayyarmalai, Kulithalai, Karur District, Tamilnadu the college occupies 22.18 acres of land. Being an affiliated college, GAC Kulithalai has obtained NAAC accreditation to ensure students are offered the best quality education. Out of 19 courses across nine degrees, it hosts a total student enrolment of 1974. The faculty of this college covers 30 experienced and committed teachers, and the ratio of students per teacher is also balanced to provide individual attention and effective teaching.

The academic programmes available at the GAC Kulithalai campuses include 19 courses inclusive of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels like BBA, M.Sc, BCA  . Nkumba offers eleven full-time undergraduate programmes, six postgraduate programmes, and two doctorate programmes. Since these courses are intended for different scholastic concerns, various occupational pursuits are also served.
