Government Polytechnic College is a technical college founded in 2010 to impart vocational courses situated at Pratapgarh in Rajasthan. It is an affiliated college and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) recognised college that provides the students the diploma courses in Different Branches of Engineering. Located on a vast piece of land measuring 7 acres the college offers a favourable environment for technical learning. At present 48 students are enrolled and 12 are faculties which assure care and education facilities to the students. 

Government Polytechnic College has made it its policy to provide all facilities that will improve the learning process of its students. Resourced library facility that is indeed well equipped is a knowledge point and resource centre that ICD students access to different technical literature. Modern laboratories are available to each department and give the students rich opportunities to acquire practical skills needed for their specialisation. The college also keen on promoting the health requirement of students, and thus, provides for sports amenities to enable students enjoy the same. Moreover, the institute has enhanced good IT infrastructure, so that students get acquainted with updates knowledge of the technological world imparted to them according to their line of specialities.

The Government Polytechnic College, located in Pratapgarh, operates with eight full time diploma courses, each of the duration of three years. The college teaches eight diploma courses and they include; Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science and Cyber Forensics. These courses offer opportunity in a vast area of engineering specialisation that addresses different needs of society and market. The overall number of students enrolled in one semester is 300, and maximum seat capacity for each course is 30 to 60.
