Government Polytechnic College, Samba, was established in the year 2012 it is an affiliated college situated at Pangwal Sumb Road, Samba, Jammu and Kashmir. This is a Technical Institution recognised in accordance with the All India Council for Technical Education Act 1987, AICTE of India, New Delhi, which offers diplomas in Engineering disciplines. The college annual intake of students is 111 and the faculty strength for the college is 5, which makes the learning environment more appropriate for an engineering college. The institute in its present function lays down three full-time diploma courses which take three years to complete for students who want to study Automobile Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Civil Engineering.
