Government Polytechnic, Kalidindi, was established in the year 2008 and is located in Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. This technical institution, affiliated and approved by AICTE, runs Diploma Engineering Courses. The approved enrolment of students in this institution is 19, with a matching strength of faculty members; therefore, it provides an ideal learning environment. Government Polytechnic, Kalidindi offers two diploma courses in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Communications Engineering. The institute's commitment to technical education gets confirmation from AICTE approval for the programmees focusing more on practical and industry-related courses. 

The campus is situated within the Z.P High School Campus on the Main Road at Kalidindi and is provided with all necessary facilities for academics and personality development. Prospectus-cum-Application forms can be obtained from State Board of Technical Education and Training, AP, Vijayawada. The aspiring students shall have to appear for the state-wide entrance examination, viz. Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET). The Entrance Examination is usually conducted in April every year. The applicant should have passed or shall be appearing for the SSC or equivalent examinations. AP POLYCET is the prime entrance to all the diploma courses admitted in the institute.
