Government Polytechnic Kotdwar admissions are offered to two diploma programmes in the field of Engineering. Government Polytechnic Kotdwar admissions will be done through counselling on the basis of merit. The Government Polytechnic Kotdwar merit list will be based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination. The merit order will be determined by the Secretary, Uttarakhand Technical Education Council.

Government Polytechnic Kotdwar Diploma Admission Process
The declaration of the rank of the joint entrance examination polytechnic (JEEP) will be published on the website of the council.
The dates and times of the computerised counselling will be published in newspapers and on the website of the council. No separate information (call letter) will be made regarding the same.
Online counselling is organised in collaboration with the unit NIC. The students can participate in counselling from anywhere where there is availability of internet.
After filing the online options by the candidates, the admission list is also released by the NIC through the internet.
After the declaration of the merit list, the candidate, if selected, has to confirm the admission.
Selected students have to submit their original documents with two sets of photocopies.
Eligibility assessment and document verification will be conducted to confirm the admission to the respective programmes as per the guidelines of the regulatory authorities.
