Government Polytechnic Roorkee Baheri, Bareilly was founded in the year 2014 and is an affiliated college in Bareilly city of Uttar Pradesh state. This technical institution which is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) does offer diploma programmes in different fields of engineering. The institute is located in a small area of land measuring 5 acres and its main mission is to offer the best technical training to its students with an intention of producing engineers. The polytechnic has a strength of 5 faculty members and at the moment, the institution offers only three diploma courses, all of which are full-time programmes. From the courses offered and infrastructure displayed, there is evidence that it is a technical institute offering technical education.
Government Polytechnic Roorkee Baheri is endowed with central facilities necessary to improve the academic needs of the students. There are three full-time diploma courses offered in Government Polytechnic Roorkee Baheri. The duration of each of these course is three years. Over all the institute has total intake capacity for 180 students for all courses offered. The existing courses include Diploma in Computer Science Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Production Engineering, and Diploma in Textile Technology. All these programmes have been given an approved admission capacity of 60 students per session which the institute considered ideal class size for teaching and learning.
