Government Science College, Ahwa was established in 2012 and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The college currently has 157 students and 8 faculty members, maintaining a good student-to-teacher ratio. GSC Ahwa offers seven undergraduate science courses, including B.Sc in Zoology, B.Sc in Mathematics, B.Sc in Botany, B.Sc in Microbiology and more. 

The college has a dedicated placement cell that organises training sessions, workshops, mock interviews, and career guidance programmes. GSC Ahwa is affiliated with Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. Government Science College campus spans 3.37 acres and provides a range of facilities to enhance both academic and extracurricular development.The college’s infrastructure includes a well-stocked library with textbooks, reference books, and study materials.
