IMB School of Hospitality, Bhubaneswar, is an oldest institute in the stream of hospitality education which was established in the year 1971. It is a co-educational institution situated in Bhubaneswar, Odisha and it runs its specialized programs in the field of hotel management. IMB School of Hospitality occupies a compact campus spread across only 3 acres. As it is now, the institute has 60 students in its population and is staffed by 6 faculty members. IMB School of Hospitality provides two academic programs: a BHM in Hotel Management and a MHM in Management for the undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the hotel industry respectively.

IMB School of Hospitality has numerous facilities that it considers as having specifics of improving the learning of its students. The campus has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls to ensure out-station students stay in comfortable and secure environment. Every hostel is headed by efficient wardens who take care of the inhabitants of the hostels. A rich collection of books, both latest edition text books, references, Magazines, and journals are available in the institutes library which also has internet enabled reading halls. The campus comprises a self ran canteen, an event and seminar hall, laboratories for various departmental courses. Other facilities include a health centre with an aid post, a gym, sporting fields and Wi-Fi in most parts of the compound.

There are two full time courses being offered at the IMB School of Hospitality for hotel management. Both programmes have been developed to offer students adequate information and skills needed in this sector of the economy. This is proof the institute trains its students practically through well-equipped classrooms which are fitted with air conditioners and audio-visual equipment to enhance on-case learning.

Admission in IMB School of Hospitality is also given in a sequential order of first come first serve basis manner. But the institute prefers single girl children, deserving candidate from numerous categories, and merit students.
