JIMS is an established institute of management sciences affiliated in 1998 at vasant kunj new delhi. This school for both men and women provides a wide scope of degrees for undergraduate programme across the various disciplines. JIMS has an affiliated college status, which helps the students to get standard education and learning environment. The institute’s campus is located at South Campus, New Delhi which boasts of well equipped modern physical facilities and favourable environment suitable for learning. Since the inception, JIMS has been imparting quality education to prospective winners of the corporate world for over two decades now.

JIMS has a number of technologically equipped structures meant to foster achievement of the institute’s goals and objectives by the students. The library, an important academic information centre is equipped with more than 15000 text and reference books, 200 periodicals/journals. It has invested in an integrated library management software known as Libman with rich end user Web-OPAC . Moreover, JIMS considers itself equipped with state of art IT facilities; computerised computer networks integrated with internet connections enable students to work as well as learn practically. This campus is equipped with internet services hence making it possible to meet the access needs of all students. Canteen: A college cafeteria provides multi cuisine food to its students and staff in a clean and healthy environment. JIMS also provides for sports and fitness through indoor and outdoor sports; the college also parts in inter collegiate and intra collegiate competition in games like cricket football basket ball and so on.

JIMS currently has a total of 11 undergraduate courses under 4 programmes where students are given numerous programme choices. The institute offers fulltime courses in every discipline consisting of Business Administration, Computer Applications, Vocational Studies and Interior design , B.Voc Catering and B.Voc Journalism and Media Management. These courses that are offered are tailored with the intent of preparing students for professional careers within respective disciplines. 

The admission process at the JIMS is devised in such a manner so as to choose those students who deserve to get selected through the admission process by going through the evaluation procedure. There are two ways of selection in JIMS including the JIMS Entrance Test (JET), of which is a two-hour written examination aiming at testing the knowledge of the applicants as well as their aptitude. Lastly, only the shortlisted candidates sit and write a written examination; however, the personal interviews are very comprehensive and form part of the shortlisting.
