To be eligible, candidates must achieve an aggregate of 40% in the qualifying examination. Merit is based on one language subject and the top three academic/elective subjects. 

A non-listed subject can be included in the 'Best Four' without deductions. Including multiple non-listed subjects in the 'Best Four' results in a 2.5% deduction per subject, in addition to any deductions for changing streams.

Candidates must have an aggregate of 45% in one language and the top three academic/elective subjects from List A and List B. Including subjects outside these lists in the 'Best Four' percentage results in a 2.5% deduction per non-listed subject. 

One of the three subjects must be related to the sought admission field, or a 2.5% deduction will apply, except for BA(Hons) Social Work and BA(Hons) Philosophy.

Candidates must have an aggregate of 40% in the qualifying examination, including one language and the three best subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics, and Business Studies/Commerce. 

Including any subject from List B other than these in the best three subjects will result in a 1% deduction per subject from the aggregate. Including subjects outside Lists A and B in the best three subjects will incur a 2.5% deduction per subject from the Best Four aggregate.

Candidates must secure an aggregate of 45% in the qualifying examination, including one language and the top three subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics, and Business Studies/Commerce. 

Including any subject from List B that is not one of these in the best three subjects will result in a 1% deduction per subject from the aggregate. 

If any subject outside Lists A and B is included in the best three subjects, a 2.5% deduction per subject will be applied to the Best Four aggregate.

Candidates are required to score 50% marks in Mathematics and an aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

Merit shall be determined on the basis of one language, Mathematics, and two best academic/elective subjects as specified in List A and List B above
