JB Mahajan Degree College, Chauri Chaura, was established in 1972. The college is an affiliated college and located at Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. A total of four programmes are offered for undergraduate studies. The enrolment for 544 students can be accommodated in the institution. The campus spreads over an area of 5 acres. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) approved this institution, and JB Mahajan Degree College teaches full-time courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, and Education. Admission to the D.El.Ed programme is made on merit with consideration of marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. College follows any other selection process as per the policy of state government or UT administration. Merit-based entry to BA, B.Sc, and B.Com programmes has been introduced.
