JES College of Nursing, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, was established in the year 2014, situated in Farhada near Gatora Railway station, and is an affiliated college. This is a co-educational institution, and it is acknowledged by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) to enrol quality nurses. The college is spread across a campus of 5.03 acres and, at present, has a total student strength of 72 and a teaching faculty of 14 members. JES College of Nursing offered only one programme which is B.Sc. Nursing, which has an approved 30 students to be enrolled every academic year. This college targets students who wish to undertake nursing and hence qualifies to be a specialised college offering education in health as a sub-sector in the region. 

JES College of Nursing has a variety of facilities for improving the learning capability of the students. The modern, equipped laboratories offer the students practical experience, which is essential in training students in the course to be nurses. It consists of a library regarded as a vital academic facility of the school, which encompasses a vast array of appropriate books and journals for learning and research use by students and instructors. 

For students, the college provides hostels for male and female students. Every hostel is headed by a warden, and every hostel has a hostel council to organise students’ activities and overall management. Transport is also one of the facilities offered at the college; the college operates a number of buses that ply within the college and with the various parts of the town and the suburbs, hence making the means of transport easily accessible for students and members of staff. 

JES College of Nursing offers one full-time course: B.Sc. Nursing. This four-year degree programme has an approved enrolment capacity of only thirty seats. The college being small with this single specialised programme, emphasis can be placed on making sure quality education in nursing. The total enrolment of the college is 72, giving a fairly steady pass rate in the production of nursing personnel annually.

JES College of Nursing follows the Central Online Counselling Conference through the Chhattisgarh Professional Examinations Board (CPEB), where admission to the B.Sc. Nursing programme is granted.
