About JCET: Jiaganj College of Engineering and Technology, an institution of higher learning established in the year 2006, situated in West Bengal, is affiliated and officially sprawled over with a campus of 2 acres. JCET is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education to ensure quality in the sphere of technical education. The institute provides 5 diploma courses within diverse streams of engineering, catering to a student enrolment of 888 and a faculty strength of 40. JCET offers only full-time diploma courses in engineering, to be completed within 3 years. 

 Admission at Jiaganj College of Engineering and Technology is pretty much entrance-oriented. The JEXPO conducted by the Polytechnics West Bengal is the prime exam that is acceptable to the college for admission into the Diploma course. An aspirant has to qualify to secure admission into the college by passing the said entrance examination.
