Kalaguru Bishnu Rabha Degree College is located in Orang, Assam, and is an affiliated college recognised in the year 1990. This is a college that provides an assortment of undergraduate programmes, majoring in arts as well as humanities. The college has enrolled 2055 students, in total, and has a faculty of 32 members to teach and help students to grow academically and professionally. This college spreads over ten acres of land and has an array of nine courses under two degrees in the subjects of different streams including Assamese, Bodo, Education, History, English, Economics, Political Science, and Nepali. 

Every student has a greater need for information, and a properly equipped library meets this requirement by offering a large number of academic materials. Kalaguru Bishnu Rabha Degree College also provides spaces for department laboratories, which allows its students to practice on various subjects. To the sports enthusiast, the institution has a provision for sports and gym to ensure that people’s physical health is also given much attention in addition to the academic achievement. Appreciating especially the role of technology in the current society, the college has made good investments on IT equipment that improve technological learning. In addition, the college has male and female hostels to house the college going students, who prefer living in college hostels. This is an Affiliated College of Bodoland University, Rangalikhata.

To be specific, there are 9 courses exclusively on Day course and fully professional, all of which fall under the three year Bachelor of Arts programmes. These comprises of an ordinary Bachelor of Arts degree and honours in Assamese, Bodo, Education, History, English, Economics, Political Science and Nepali. 

Admission process is always smooth and this college is also follows the same policy for admissions to its diverse students. Lack of information on the admission process though, the basic entrance criteria as they were earlier indicated are that the applicant should have a 10+2 certification from a recognised board.
