Kasturi Devi College,Jodhpur was oriented in the year of 2012.The college is affiliated and co-educational college situated in Chaksu,Jaipur under the Rajasthan University. Situated on a 2.21 acre area, the institution teaches the total of 2,699 students within 18 courses offered within 7 degrees. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE),the college offers B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., B.El.Ed., M.A., M.Com., M.Sc as well as B.Ed., M.Ed. Faculty wise KDC is having a strength of 33 members, and the college offers MBA along with various other subject at PG level in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and zology etc.

Kasturi Devi College has various facilities which facilitate learning and enhances the experience of the college. The basic facilities which include a well stocked library have a book stock of 15000 books catering for all the programmes offered. For learners who are in school especially the sports persons, a large playground is vital in development of games and physical activities. To support its academic programmes, the institution is well provided with modern Information Technology facilities and accoutrements in addition to Laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Educational technology.

Kasturi Devi College provides diversified academic facilities, which comprises eighteen courses at different levels: undergraduate and postgraduate. The course offering includes full time programmes in arts, science and commerce streams. At the undergraduate level, there are Courses leading to the award of the Bachelor of Arts B.A, Bachelor of Commerce B.Com, and Bachelor of Science B. Sc in both Mathematics and Biology groups. The college also has integrated courses for BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed. The postgraduate programmes offered are Master of Arts (MA) in History, Geography, Hindi, Politics Science, English and Urdu along with Master of Science (M.Sc) in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.

Kasturi Devi College follows mostly an entrance examination based admission procedure for most of courses. For degree courses for example BA, B.Com, B.Sc, candidates are offered a place according to the scores that they got in their secondary school reports. Integrated BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed programmes have their own admission process and they take admission through Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) admission entrance test only.
