Lingaraj Law College Berhampur was established in 1969, is one of the constituent Colleges situated at Berhampur, Odisha. As a co-educational institution, it has been nurturing legal brains for more than five decades with a number of legal courses for the would-be legal professionals. The college has this noble aim of providing high quality legal education which is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). While the student intake is 385 and faculty strength 2, the college provides a student-friendly learning environment at Lingaraj Law College. The college offers three full-time degree programs: Undergraduate, postgraduate, and integrated programs including LLB, LLM, and BA LLB, for learning in every aspect of law and for learners coming from any background.

The college owns many a facility aimed at adding value to the learning process of its learners. In this connection, the library remains an important resource center to the students since it avails to them a host of legal documents and materials. Being conscious of the fact that the use of technology has become a critical factor in today’s legal practice, Lingaraj Law College has provided the best IT facilities more so to equip the students in preparation for the new order. One of them is moot court where talents in advocacy are sharpened through practical formation of a court chamber. These practical exposures are quite helpful to budding lawyers. Furthermore, the college is aware of the need for the students to live a healthy life hence provision of sports facilities to meet the need.

The faculty currently has an array of three courses, all of which are of full-time basis. These are the three year LLB, the two year LLM programme for post graduate students, and the five years integrated BA LLB.
