Mata Gujri Memorial College of Education is a co-educational institution for teacher training that opened its doors to students in 2006, it is located in Gurdaspur. This affiliated college is situated in Balwanda near Kahnuwan Gurdaspur, Punjab and the various buildings are located in a 10 acre area. It is recognised by the National Counsil for Teacher Education NCTE and is committed to deliver quality in teacher training. The college is pursuing a student population of 79 students and has a faculty of 9 members. The institution mainly recognises the training of students offering the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), which is tailored to produce educationists.
