Mazharul Uloom College located at Ambur, MUC is an established college which started in 1969 and imparting knowledge to the students. Affiliated to Vellore college, its campus is located in the Gandhi Nagar, Ambur, Tamil Nadu and the college occupies 21 acres of land. They have affirmed this institution with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accreditation confirming the quality MUC is determined to provide. The college offers 30 courses in 10 degree programs for a student populace of 980 co-instructed by 46 highly dedicated members of the faculty. The university has numerous disciplines and among them include, corporate economics, Mathematics, Computer science, commerce among others.

The college has had an opportunity to put up an excellent complex of facilities meant to complement the college learning and personal development of students. Mazharul Uloom College has a network of the following undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes which total to thirty in number. A majority of these are full course programs and there is possibility of part time and research programs also. At the under graduate level, the college offers three-years degree courses in many disciplines that include the BA Corporate Economics, B.Sc Mathematics, B.Sc Computer Science, B.Com. For Post Graduate courses MUC offers 2 years programs are MA English, M.Sc Mathematics and M.Com. It also has the same programs for the research inclined students with M.Phil and Ph.D programs in Computer science, Commerce and English.
