Metropolitan Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata was founded in the year 1972 and is one of the prime institutions for studying homoeopathic education in West Bengal. It is located at Ramchandrapur, Sodepur, and this affiliated college is approved by the Central Council of Homeopathy, CCH. This institute within a small campus area of 1 acres runs a single full-time course in Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery. Though the enrollment capacity is 250 students, the faculty strength is only 29, thus maintaining a compact approach towards homoeopathic education.
