Nagaland University Kohima is a Central University which was established in the state of Nagaland by an Act of Parliament by the Government of India in 1989. For nearly a decade and half Nagaland University had been functioning from Kohima as the interim Headquarters of the University. Nagaland University has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Nagaland University Kohima offers programmes at postgraduate and doctoral levels such as M.Ed, M.Sc, MCom, MA, PGD, M.Phil, PhD and many others.
