About New Horizon Institute of Technology and Management, Thane
The New Horizon Institute of Technology and Management was established in the year 2014 and today is one of the most prominent engineering institutes in Thane, Maharashtra. The compact 2.79 acre campus of NHITM offers various programmes in Engineering to aspiring Technologists. The Institute is approved by AICTE and affiliated college. With a total enrolment of 825 students, and a faculty strength of 60.
The NHITM has various facilities aimed at the improvement of academic as well as personal growth of students. The library is one of the greatest features of this institution. It occupies a spacious area, is well-furnished, and also well-stocked with a good number of textbooks, reference books, journals, and periodicals. This quiet atmosphere highly promotes studies and research work. The college also takes care of the health and healthiness of its students. For this, it provides a health center with first-aid facilities for the students.
At present, NHITM offers six BE programmes on a full-time basis in various disciplines of engineering. These include Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Mechatronics Engineering, and Computer Science and Design. The total intake as approved is 360, the highest intake is in the Computer Engineering programme, which is 120.

The admission procedure in NHITM mainly comes under the Centralised Admission Procedure, which therefore makes the whole admission procedure quite fair and solely based on merit. Prospective students have to register themselves for the CAP. At Facilitation Centers, document verification, confirmation of application form, is done. Only two major entrance examinations that this institute accepts are Joint Entrance Examination Main - JEE Main and Maharashtra Common Entrance Test MHT-CET. These are entrance exams that help to decide the admission and aptitude of students for the engineering course.

College Infrastructure
it's a nice college with really nice faculties, and other facilities. they need more clubs to be introduced, but other than that the events are great. the canteen food could be improved though, but the hygiene is maintained.

College Infrastructure
NHITM boasts modern , well maintained infrastructure with good labs. NHITM follows the university's prescribed syllabus and examination.Proffesors are good knowledgeable and have supportive nature. overall labs and clasrooms are well maintained.

College Infrastructure
The campus is big and has decent labs, classrooms and WIFI facility. Computer labs and workshops are fairly equipped. The infrastructure supports core engineeering needs well. other facilites in the campus are good as well.
