PMS College of Nursing, Bengaluru, is an emerging educational institute in the field of nursing started in 2018. Started as an affiliated college, this institution is situated in Maruthi Nagar, Kogilu, Yelahanka, Bengaluru for both boys and girls. The campus is 1 acre in size and offers students a concentrated training setting necessary for a nurse. Recognised by INC –Indian Nursing Council, the PMS College of Nursing aims to educate nurses to cater to the increasing requirement of specialised health care workers. At present, the college has a strength of 40 students and has 12 faculty members that make sure that the institution preserves a student- teacher ratio that guarantees every student gets individual attention and quality teaching.

PMS College of Nursing provides very many facilities in order to enrich the learning process and the quality of life of learners in college. The library retains books, journals, periodicals, and up-to-date publication, on all the relevant aspects of nursing and healthcare. For practical training, the college has departmental based laboratories to make sure that the student get to practice had under a controlled environment. The campus has facilities of Information Technology like WI-FI to connect the students with world of technology and to avail the latest knowledge of the students’ area of interest. PMS College of Nursing has 2 nursing courses thus addressing concerns of educational nursing. The programmes include General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN). All these programmes are full time courses and these courses are designed to offer the theoretical knowledge and actual skills in nursing profession. The college was given approval by the government for 80 students, to pursue various programmes through a 40:40 split between the GNM and B.Sc Nursing. This way of implementing the curriculum is rather beneficial because of such factors such as provision of individual attention and immediate assistance.
