Pratishtha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences was only started in 2007 and is in Durajpally, Telangana and is for both boys and girls. This affiliated college, situated at a 3.5 acre campus, is exclusively for the study of pharmacy. Recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), approved by Ministry of Social Justice and empowerment, Government of India and recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the institute Provides Several Pharmaceuticals Courses. The institute has the current strength of 280 students and 58 faculty members to cater a R focused learning environment to the contenders of the pharmacy course. The institute has 6 courses spread out in 4 degree programmes and is focused on different areas pharmaceutical sciences.

A well equipped library contains books, titles and journals related specifically to pharmaceutical subject matters. The campus has well equipped laboratories that are equipped with sophisticated apparatus used in the various pharmaceutical disciplines. To cope with the changes in the technological front, the institute has had good resources in terms of IT connection such as wireless connection all over the campus. This is a health centre with first aid facilities for the improvement of the students’ health. Besides class rooms and administrative offices the campus also comprises of sports facilities,cafeteria and even enough space for car parking all these factors contribute to student development. The Training and Placement Cell supports campus interviews and recruitment procedures with potential employers.

Pratishtha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences provides a number of programmes specially related to the pharmacy field. This institute offers 6 full time programmes out of which some of them are undergraduate level and some at postgraduate level. At the undergraduate level, institute offer B.Pharma with intake of 100 and D.Pharma with intake of 60. For postgraduate course it provides M.Pharma in three specialisations: Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, & Pharmacology with a total of fifteen seats in each. Moreover, the institute offers 6 year full time Pharm.D programme with an intake capacity of 30. Total student intake for all courses offered is 280 in order to ensure that the institute is able to maintain a good student ratio in order to pass on quality education.

Intake for Pratishtha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences differs from one programme to another one. For B.Pharma and Pharm.D courses the admissions are taken through TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test).
