Prince Dr. K. Vasudevan College of Engineering and Technology, Chennai was set up in the year 2009 and is a self-financing college offering engineering education. Affiliated to the University of Madras, it occupies 65 acres of area in Ponmar, Chennai. The institute is recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which makes it follow the national standards. Focusing on technical education it has 5 courses on 2 levels of degrees providing services for a variety of engineering disciplines. The institute has a total enrolment of 255 students and has 42 faculty members with a good strength faculty student ratio for better interaction.

Prince Dr. K. Vasudevan College of Engineering and Technology provides all branches of engineering courses. There are 5 courses offered by institute and all of them are on a regular basis. Some of the undergraduate offered courses at the institution are; BE in CSE, Electronics and communication, Cyber security, Mechanical Engineering, biomedical Engineering and B. Tech AI & data Science. For postgraduate, there is Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering offered in this college. The total admission sanctioned for these courses is different; however, most of the BE programmes have intake capacity of 60 students for each programme and for ME programme the total intake capacity is 9.
