Raghunathpur Government Polytechnic, Purulia was established in the year 2016 at Neturia, West Bengal. It is an affiliated college imparting Diploma courses in various streams of Engineering Disciplines with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This institute offers an ideal learning environment to aspiring engineers with an enrolment of students at 408, and 16 faculty members. It offers three full-time diploma courses for three years: Computer Science and Technology, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

This institute is deeply committed to imparting quality education to its students and providing them with practical training. To fulfill this mission, Raghunathpur Government Polytechnic has constituted the following facilities on its campus. It thus acts as the knowledge hub for the students in the library through its books and resources provided for the study and research-oriented career development. The college also realises the need to have hands-on work while pursuing technical education. It has therefore established departmental laboratories that provide practice sessions for the students whereby theoretical concepts taught would be tested in real-life situations to enhance skills and expertise in respective areas.
