24 MonthsThe Two-year Master’s Degree Programme in Computer Science (Data Analytics) is introduced under the Department of Computer Science, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences in 2020 to meet the growing demand for well qualified and trained Data Analysts in the Industry. The course is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India. The annual intake of students to the course is Thirty. The students are admitted to the course through careful screening and other admission criteria.
The MSc Computer Science (Data Analytics) programme offered by Rajagiri College will provide the graduates of computer science with the essential requirements that are needed in the field of Data Science.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduates who have passed qualifying examination in CBCSS (2009) pattern
- Graduation in Computer Applications (BCA) or B.Sc. Degree with Mathematics/Computer Science /Electronics/IT as one of the subjects with not less than CGPA of 2.00 out of 4 in Core Group (Core + Complementary + Open Courses) OR
Graduates who have passed qualifying examination in CBCSS (2013/2017) pattern
- Graduation in Computer Applications (BCA) or B.Sc. Degree with Mathematics/Computer Science /Electronics/IT as one of the subjects with not less than CCPA of 5.00 out of 10.00 in Core Group (Core + Complementary + Open Courses) OR
Graduates who have passed qualifying examination in other patterns
- Graduation in Computer Applications (BCA) or B.Sc. degree with Mathematics/Computer Science /Electronics/IT as one of the subjects with not less than 50% marks in part III subjects in Part III (Main/Core + subsidiaries/Complementariness) OR
- B Tech in Computer Science
A weightage of 20% marks scored by the candidate in Part III Core/Main shall be added to the total of Part III for those who have studied Computer Science/Computer Applications/Electronics as core/Main after standardizing the marks secured for the same to 600
Admission Details
The admission to the M.Sc. programme shall be based on one-hour Entrance Examination conducted by Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery, Academic performance and Personal Interview.
