The Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences, as the name suggests, is a regional institute for paramedical and nursing sciences in Aizawl, Mizoram, which is an experienced and reputed institute of healthcare professional training. This institute was founded in 1996, and it is a co-educational institute which is making the future of numerous healthcare professionals. RIPANS is a large campus functioning on 13.09 acres of land and offers a number of specialised programmes in nursing and paramedical sciences. These include underpart B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharma, BMLT (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology), and B.Sc RA&IT (Radiography and Imaging Technology). M.Pharma is offered at the postgraduate level in pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutics, pharmacognosy and phytochemistry, and pharmacology, all under RIPANS. For all the courses, the institute has been approved to admit 690 students, a strategy the institute uses in order to ensure that it does not compromise on the quality of education offered.
