Candidates aspiring for SMSMC M.Sc admissions have to appear for an Online Entrance Test (computer-based) conducted at the College. For admission to super speciality course, aspirants have to appear for NEET SS exam and meet the S.M.S. Medical College cut off requirement and then participate in the counselling process conducted by the College. SMS medical College is a top class medical College.

College have a good infrastructure with a large area, but there is no girls hostel inside the campus only a boys hostel inside the campus. Collages have a libraries , sport ground, Wi-Fi and a good campus.
